Hot wire maintenance

Your hot wire is critical to keeping your yuv® lab running smoothly and efficiently. If it's broken, damaged, or dirty, it can affect the performance of your yuv® system. You should regularly check and maintain the yuv® hot wire located on the drip tray.

Step 1

Remove the carousel and check the condition of the hot wire cutter on the drip tray.

Step 2

If broken, it's critical you contact support to order a new drip tray.

Step 3

Hand clean the drip tray ensuring not to damage the wires.

Step 4

Place back into the yuv® lab, ensuring you align the pins and press down for a secure connection.
