yuv® High Lift
This brand new High Lift Level 12 range offers powerful lifting performance, delivering up to 5 levels of lift in just 50 minutes. They provide exceptional neutralisation or supporting warmth whether you are looking for clean, bright blonde results or a warm fun vivid.
Level 12 shades are identified by descriptive names. This is due to the range's unique Blue/Black base formulation, which can deliver intense neutralisation during the lifting process.
The Blue/Black base is particularly effective when working on darker natural levels, as it helps to counteract dominant underlying warmth, making it ideal for achieving cooler, more refined blonde results.

The High Lift Level 12’s

Expert Tips for Using Yuv® High Lift Tint
Working with Yuv® High Lift Tint can deliver exceptional lift and tone when used with precision and expertise. To help you achieve consistent, beautiful results, here are some expert insights to keep in mind:
1. Pay Attention to Fine Hair Around the Hairline
When working on natural levels 8 and above, it’s crucial to adjust your application technique around the hairline, especially where the hair is finer in texture. This area is more prone to absorbing pigment quickly, which can lead to over toning. To prevent this apply this area last.
2. Application is key
When working with High Lift Level 12’s, it is essential to ensure adequate product saturation. Applying a generous and even amount of tint is critical, as the lifting power depends on the energy within the formula. Insufficient product can lead to uneven lift or compromised tonal results.
3.Hair textures
Different hair textures will give you different degrees of lift. Any example of this is a level 6 that is coarse may not achieve the same amount of lift as a level 6 that is a finer hair texture.
4.No Bleach blonde boost service
Utilising our Level 12 high lift blondes is a great way to create a no bleach blonde boost service. Consider high lift options for hair patterns that are more prone to damage E.g curly and coil patterns or clients that are seeking bleach free alternatives.
5. High Lift as a Strategic Option for Vivids
If you're preparing the hair for a vivid colour application and your target shade is warm, consider using a High Lift Level 12 as an alternative to a bleach application.
It’s particularly effective for achieving a clean, warm base that enhances the vibrancy of warm vivid shades like copper, peach, or coral when applied.

Colour objective
Brighten over all appearance of the hair but keep it natural.
Starting point
Level 7 with some old blonde colour history through lengths and ends.
Formula 1
High Lift Level 10
12.1 - 40 vol
Formula 2
High Lift Level 10
12.0 - 30 vol

Step 1
Work with your half head foil application using formula 1. Here we have worked a herringbone sectioning pattern to achieve a softness to the root, for a softer grow out.
Step 2
Next mix up formula 2. This is applied to the lengths and ends of the hair between every other highlight. You don’t want to apply this to the natural root area, this part of the application is about cleaning up some of the previous colour, to complement the brightness of the foil application. When applying to the lengths and ends its important to saturate the hair to achieve lift.
Frequently asked questions
When would I choose to use High Lift vs yuv®Cream Bleach?
When using our yuv® Permanent High Lift tint, you're applying it to natural hair to achieve a lift of up to 5 levels by utilising the natural pigment. If your goal is to lift through artificial pigment, we still suggest using yuv® Cream Bleach, which can provide up to 9 levels of lift.
Can the Level 12’s be used on levels 6 and below?
Yes they can, a great way to introduce a natural brunette to soft caramel and sunkissed tones without bleach. Just remember your starting level to manage the expectation of the lift. If you are seeking cool blonde results on darker bases we would recommend using yuv® Cream Bleach.
Application is key
When lightening hair, it's essential to take clean, fine sections and apply enough product to fully saturate the hair. This ensures maximum lift, especially during a full-head lightening service using the yuv® High Lift.
Consistency of product
Yuv® High Lift is mixed at a 1:2 ratio, resulting in a slightly looser viscosity. When applying in foils, take extra care to control placement and saturation to prevent slipping or bleeding. Clean, precise sections and consistent tension are key for best results.
