How to dispense a yuv® formula

What is a formula.

A formula is a dispensable bowl of product. Users can create unique formulas, for example by combining a shade, developer and tags such as application type and ammonia level. Formulas can be created uniquely for a chosen client.

Step 1 : (Dispensing a formula)

From either the home page or clients page select the formula card you would like to dispense.

Step 2 : (Connecting to a yuv lab)

If you are not already connected to a Lab. Connect to a yuv® Lab by selecting the yuv® Lab button.

Step 3 : (Connecting to a yuv lab)

If there is no device switched on and nearby you will see this screen. Switch your Lab on and come closer to connect.

Step 4 : (Connecting to a yuv lab)

A yuv lab option will appear when within range. Select the Button to connect.

Step 5 : (Connecting to a yuv lab)

The button will turn green when connected, the yuv lab will flash blue to indicate what lab has been connected.

Step 6: (Connecting to a yuv lab)

You will now see the yuv device is no longer grey and a name has been added. You have successfully connected to a yuv lab.

Step 7 : (Dispensing a formula)

Next you must have a bowl in the yuv lab in order to dispense your formula. Place a bowl into the lab. Then you can now select the "dispense" button.

Step 8 : (Cancel dispensing)

Once selected dispensing will start. To cancel dispensing select "Cancel dispensing"

Step 9 : (Cancel dispensing)

A pop up will then appear asking you to confirm canceling the dispense.

Step 10 : (Cancel dispensing)

Once canceled you will be prompted to dispose of the formula. As the Lab did not finish mixing you should not use formula as you will get undesirable results.

Step 11 : (Dispensing a formula)

If you did not want to cancel, while dispensing the formua your lab will light up red in the bowl area. Do not touch the bowl while the area is red as this will effect your formula.
